I have never been in that situation and maybe what I’m gonna say is going to sound a little naive. But I really think you guys should try to work it out and really communicate in a civilized manner. You have been with him for the past 7 years and he was your first so I don’t think anyone could just drop something that significant in their lives so easily.
But since you specifically said that you left many things out on purpose, so I’m not looking correctly into your situation.

It baffles me how you can endure 7 years of homosexual suffering. You know you are attracted to females yet you do this to yourself.
You’re not gay, it’s all in your mind. Think deeper to when you were a child. It may hurt but you must think hard, back when you were a normal checking out girls.
I need you to think back to the event that traumatized you. What happened that day? Who touched you? Was it a family member? It may not be too late to fix the problem.
